Branded Social Campaign: Madefor Mental Health Awareness

Brand Identity, Creative Direction

Madefor, a holistic wellness program grounded in neuroscience, positive psychology and physiology, helps people discover surprisingly simple and powerful ways to engage their body and mind to create lasting, meaningful change in their everyday lives.

In recognition of Mental Health America’s national theme of “Back-to-Basics”, Madefor hosted a free 28-day text challenge that gave participants tangible, actionable ways to improve their mental, emotional and physical health. The goal was to focus on four foundational pillars of wellbeing (one each week) - hydration, movement, nature, and breath.

I lead the development of the campaign’s visual identity which would be used to create assets across our social/web pages as well as for email designs. Although this was a text-based challenge, Madefor wanted to create buzz and garner attention through their other channels, focusing mainly on social, to ensure we could bring in as many people as possible.

I wanted these designs to showcase the beauty of simplicity found in the natural world - for the viewer to be able to embody the feeling, texture, and scents of the visuals. This was achieved by leaning heavily into bold, macro photography paired with eye-catching typographic/line elements.
