Various Events

 - Tea Party Baby Shower Invitation -

This was a baby shower invite I did for a client. The flower detail was sketched out and watercolored. The rest of the invite was written out/drawn in Micron pen. Everything was scanned into photoshop, refined, and printed on cardstock. I used black acrylic ink to do custom calligraphy on the envelopes. Photo styling and photography done by me.

- Hudson Valley Wedding Invitation Suite -

Although this wedding was set in a barn, this NYC couple didn’t want their wedding suite to invoke a country vibe but rather one that is more funky and retro (similar to their personalities). Knowing the wedding day color scheme was set around a soft sage, this invitation suite was custom designed with black and white sketches and pops of color, the highlight being a fully designed map that outlined the events of the weekend.

All sketches were custom designed and graphically hand drawn. Invites and detail cards were printed on 100lb matte cardstock paper. White ink calligraphy was hand done by me on deep sage envelopes.

- Retro Bridal Shower Invite -

Using a graphic approach, this bride wanted a floral invitation with a retro twist. The result is a fun but clean design that set the vibe for the wedding festivities.

- “Love Rocks NYC” Thank You Card -

I was commissioned to do an illustration for a thank you card that would be sent out to people who made donations to the annual charity event “Love Rocks NYC”. All proceeds from the event benefits “God’s Love We Deliver” which is an NYC-based charity organization that prepares and delivers meals to people who, because of their illness, are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves.

- Black Tie Wedding Invitation Suite -

My client approached me looking for a floral wedding suite that wasn’t too conservative but would fit a black tie themed reception. The end result was a beautiful combination of custom hand-drawn rose details with a watercolor touch, bold black & pale pink envelopes, and vintage stamps.

The floral details were drawn out in pencil and Micron pen and then scanned into photoshop, refined, and printed on 80lb matte cardstock paper (in eggshell color). The liners were printed on 32lb laser paper and one-by-one were hand glued into the interior of the envelopes. Guest addresses and return addresses were custom printed onto both sides of the envelopes (white ink on the black envelopes, black ink on the pink envelopes).
